Does Necessary Basic Tasks Superbly But . . .

Machine performs basic wash jobs efficiently quietly and very well. But comes without detailed operating instructions and it is necessary to learn those details through trial and error experiences. Also control panel is difficult to read. Finally low stance makes access inconvenien unless separate expensive and overly large stand also is purchased.

Machine leaked from the day we got it. It leaks through the safety air vent in the rear of the machine where you cannot see and probably wont notice. Research online told me that this will always be a problem with this machine because of its poor design. I have contacted LG twice and they are not willing to let me return the machine. Ive only had it in service for 42 days. We have been switching our appliances to LG as theyve needed replaced because of their quality but this unit has failed and really soured us on LG and their willingness to help

I bought the washer and dryer. And they work great. I had the same brand before and they last lasted years. But moved and needed to get another set there is only one thing I find inferior and thats the fact theres no light in the washing machine yet theyve put one in the dryer. Ive never had a check and uneven load in the dryer but I have in the washer and without a light. Its really difficult to see inside whats going on.

First thing first. Great washer. Here is main issue. If you are shopping and checking reviews of this product please go buy from Home depot or Bestbuy. DO NOT BUY FROM LG.COM. Ordered on Monday and the earliest delivery day is Saturday. Ok no prob. But on Friday night at 8:45 got a text from company called RXO LGs handling agent for delivery and installation and said delivery is delayed. What? the night before delivery??? I Called RXO to reschedule and the agent says they did not even receive the item at their warehoue. WHAT? its been 5 days already. So i asked when will you receive and the agent had no answer. And she was very rude. I could literally hear her eyes rolling and sounded very annoyed. Attitude was horrible. So I called LG next morning and they had no idea whats going on. I read some of the reviews which i shouldve done before ordering this RXO company is infamous about late delivery and irresponsible management of shipment and installation. So many people had bad experience with RXO. If you search online trustpilot.com and this company has 93 1 star. Ive never seen this kind of reviews ever. And it seems they are this bad. And I was not an exception. Bad handling Bad customer service. LG is probably using them to save money. Dear LG they are ruining your reputation so badly. Please stop using them. you make good product and Im sure you lost many customers because of RXO. And YOUR customer service is not that good either. they dont know what the heck is going on and searching for my order for very long time. Anyways dear all customers who read this post it may seem like youre saving some money on LG.com but your headache and trouble is totally not worth the money saving. Washer Glass Door Exploded -Poor Product Service

Said product was in stock. Didnt get delivered for a month. washing machine is much louder than expected. Had the washer for less than 2 months and the glass on the inside of the door exploded during a cycle all over my towel. LG wont sent me a new washer. Says it is cosmetic. Will only send a tech to replace the door. I guess i will just have to live with being cut by glass when i wash my clothes. That glass is going to get everywhere and cause more damage and repairs in the future. Just more headaches for me. Great TVS. RUN FROM THEIR WASHERS AND DRYERS

I have only had my washier since Aug 1 2024. I have only used it 10 times went on vacation until Oct 1.And already stopped working leaking from a hose that has a inch cut. A code dE1 that means my door is open but its not. The part the teach said is hot to the touch is behind where the door hitch click to tell the machine the door is close. That went bad and was hot to touch. Not cool. LG wont give me a new washier. So that is why Im give it a 1 star. Its a no star for me. I was told by so many people and family not to buy a LG. They are pieces of poop. But I didnt listen and now Im having to wait weeks to get parts in. Just give me a new washier please.

Absolutely insane customer service interaction. LG WM4000H model is brand new washing every cold cycle on extremely hot water. Cannot even wash yoga pants without it deteriorating the quality of clothes dont even bother with delicates. Customer support told me to hand wash anything that should be used in the delicate cycle of this washer were of absolutely no help whatsoever.

LG: My Go To Brand for Applicances

I bought the LG washer to replace my older LG washer which had stopped working. The new clothes washer has all the features I needed and the capacity meets my needs. I switched from a top loader to front loader for ease of use. The online purchase experience was easy and I appreciated the rebate option for my old LG washer. When the delivery date confirmed was earlier than estimated during the order I was able to easily change the delivery date. The installers were friendly and professional. They quickly removed the old washer and installed the new one. The communications were excellent throughout the whole process. I also have and LG clothes dryergas stove microwave and refrigerator and have experienced that the products are all high-quality.

DO NOT ORDER LG contracts with RXO to deliver their items. LG promises one time and then RXO delivers weeks later. RXO is ineffective and their business model is abysmal. The amount of time and money wasted waiting around for RXO to deliver my washer I will never get back. And still THEY DID NOT SHOW UP So many calls later and still no word from them. The following day I received an email to reschedule the washer for another 2 weeks from now Not acceptable business practices. LG needs to find a different company that actually knows how to run a business.

New LG Washing Machine

We purchased this product to replace an older Maytag washer. The new LG works very well and was relatively easy to learn how to operate. The washer is exceptionally quiet and offers many different wash options. Overall the LG works very well is gentle on clothing and gets clothing very clean.

This washer is terrible and the customer service of LG and Best Buy is even worse If I could I would give 0 stars. I purchased the washer from Best Buy. 30 days after I purchased the washing machine it leaked all over my laundry room floor and ruined my floors. Best Buy took no responsibility because it was after 15 days. LG took no responsibility because they said I purchased it from Best Buy. I waited on hold for about 9 hours to speak to a supervisor at LG and their customer service kept dropping my call. Buyer Beware TERRIBLE PRODUCT and EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. now im stuck with a broken brand new washing machine that i have to call a handyman to fix. Never buying from LG or BEST BUY again

Ordered on 9/11 and promised delivery on 9/17. Was not delivered and multiple times later it was installed on 9/29 with missing parts used old appliance parts. Spent 3-5 hours on the phone with no resolution to the issues. Unclear if the appliance is reliable or not since we just received it. However what ever future service or repairs we might need I fear will be the same horrible experience so far. I should have read all the horrible customer service stories before purchasing. Be warned

Non-functional appliance terrible repair service

The washer was installed without ensuring it was functional. It showed an IE error common per online posts. Past Home Depot 48h return window I was left dealing directly with LG. After a week a third-party technician found that multiple parts needed replacement on a brand new machine not a good sign of LGs factory quality controls. Im stuck waiting for parts with over 2 weeks and no working washer. Disappointing experience with LGs quality control repair services.

Purchased from Sams Club in April 2024. The dryer had an issue in the first 30 days. My washer broke down almost 3 weeks ago. Repairman came out within a week. LG ordered a part for what they thought the repair needed . Couldnt repair it. Need another part. A part was ordered and sent to my house. Repairman was supposed to be there Friday September 27. LG. Notified me not all parts were delivered. They didnt already know that??? Now Im on my 4 th trip to laundromat and do t know when will be repaired.

Literally Stinks

Literally stinks - world great great features. But had a musty rubbery smell from when the factory wrapping was removed. Twice spent 1/2 hours on Chat with LG and got cut off both times with the no follow up? Both times they said probably hooked up wrong with drain hose etc. And finally convinced it smelled when unwrapped before even connecting to anything. Then they wanted me to hire a plumber to check out?? Both times communication stopped before a Next Step?

Terrible delivery experience with no C/S help

No idea how good the washer and dryer are because after a month of waiting they were dropped off and not installed which was included for both products. Ive been on their chat had 4 very long phone calls all in an attempt to verify installation and each time no one is able to help. They promise escalation but nothing happens. Customer service is accessible but no one can help resolve anything. This after calling beforehand to confirm the delivery company will install all pieces and have the attachments. If you expect delivery and installation in a reasonable amount of time do NOT buy from LG direct. Very disappointing experience after being a long time LG fan and owner.

I purchased a front load washer and dryer in April. The dryer thru a code. Had have a repairman out. My washer we t our 2 and a half weeks ago. A repairman came out over a week ago and need another part to fix. Over a week later part came in but waiting repairman availability which is this Friday. Im currently out the laundromat 3rd time.

I cant say anything about the washer and dryer because they wasnt delivered until 2+ werent after I ordered them. However I opted for the trade in when I purchased them and the delivery driver refused to take them. Which is disappointing because I do not have time to dispose of them myself.

I have had this washer for a couple of months. It worked find but has now stopped working and the suggested steps to start it up again have not worked. It is under manufacturer warranty but it is proving impossible to get someone to come out and repair it. It broke down on 9/4/24. A repairman was due on 9/9/24 cut never showed. Our next appointment is first 9/29/24. This situation is a total repeat of our first LG washer which also broke down and took a month and a half to be replaced as it couldnt be fixed. The product is great as long as it works. Good luck trying to get it fixed and it will break down.
